I have been using this slow feeder for a few weeks, and I wanted to give it a fair try first.
My cat used to finish her meals in no time, no matter what I tried. I was worried about her eating too fast, so I decided to try this slow feeder. I started by gradually reducing the food portion using the easy setting. At first, I wasn’t sure if she’d take to it, but to my surprise, she quickly got the hang of it. With a learning curve for both my cat and I, this is an amazing product! It definitely slows my Carl boy down and he doesn’t have to “hide” his food bowl anymore buy trying to scratch/push things over it.
I gave it a 4/5 because I wish the grips on the bottom were stronger for hardwood or tile floors. A color option would be nice too, but the cream color works very well.
A main reason for a color change is the ability to see through the top container to see how much is left in the “tank.” Not being able to see the amount is making it tricky for me.

We just adopted/rescued an abandoned cat, he’s about a year old — and he eats his food like it’s his last meal. He threw up a couple times which sent me on a search for something to slow him down.
And this definitely works. He still has the habit of not chewing his food, but he can no longer just inhale all his kibble in a few seconds.
We feed him 4 times a day, and he eats all the dispensed kibble in one sitting, but we’re still hopeful that eventually he will learn that he doesn’t need to eat everything in a panic.
